The East African nation is still one of the highest malaria burden countries in the world, yet Kenya’s efforts in recent years shows significant progress against the disease. Key to Kenya’s malaria control efforts is their emphasis on innovation, including insecticide-treated mosquito nets, indoor residual spraying and participation in the world’s first malaria vaccine rollout.
