ANGOLA

Angola was one of the first countries to team up with the U.S. President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI) to fight malaria when the initiative began in 2005. Since being selected as one of the first three PMI focus countries, Angola has seen major progress in its fight to end malaria, including a 42% reduction in the all-cause mortality rate for children under five in the last decade.
